The Gathering

A thesis written in the department of English at Wesleyan University during the 2021-2022 academic year, awarded Honors.

During my senior year, I wrote an 80-page trans-generational memoir about the childhoods of my grandmother, mother, and myself. This project began with an 8,000 mile road trip for creative research. During this road trip, I attempted to visit the childhood homes of my mother, who moved fifteen times between the ages of 4 & 18. Below, there is are a selection of photographs which I took on that road trip and archival images of my family.

The Olin Fellowship, given to selected students by the Wesleyan English department, provided the funding for my creative research.
